DANCE CONDITIONING

Our Dance Conditioning classes focus on maintaining, preparing, and strengthening the body for the physical demands of dance. These classes support overall body function, flexibility, and core stability, helping dancers move with greater control, efficiency, and confidence.
 

Through targeted exercises, students develop strength using correct placement and alignment, supporting safe dance practice while minimising the risk of injury and enhancing performance quality.

Dance Conditioning is ideal for students wishing to improve core strength and flexibility in a controlled and supervised environment. While particularly beneficial for ballet students, dancers from all styles are encouraged to participate, as strong core engagement is essential across all forms of dance.
 

Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT)

iDance Echuca is proud to offer Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) classes, delivered by registered PBT coaches. PBT focuses on strengthening the specific muscle groups required for correct ballet technique through carefully structured conditioning exercises.
 

Weekly PBT classes support improved alignment, stability, balance, turnout strength, and overall technical understanding. While PBT is ballet-focused, the benefits extend across all dance styles by developing strong, well-supported movement patterns.

Technique (Pilates-Based for Dancers)

Our Technique class is based on Pilates principles adapted specifically for dancers. This class focuses on core control, posture, flexibility, strength, and body awareness, supporting efficient movement and long-term dancer health.

Technique classes complement all dance styles and are suitable for dancers looking to strengthen their foundation, improve control, and enhance overall performance quality.
